We’re pretty sure that we don’t have to tell those who have read the Maier-Files books that they are worth reading (for the others: Book 1 – The Initiation is on Amazon, Book 0 is still on our website for free). But maybe we should explain the benefits of following us on Facebook.

De Maier-Files: volg ons op Facebook, het is de moeite waard !

Dat het de moeite waard is om de albums van De Maier-Files te lezen, hoeven we degenen die dat al gedaan hebben ongetwijfeld niet meer te vertellen (voor de anderen: u vindt Boek 1 – De Inwijding terug op Amazon, Boek 0 nog steeds gratis op deze website). Maar dat ons volgen op Facebook óók voordelen heeft, leggen we graag even uit.

The Maier-Files: watch them now !

Okay, The Maier-Files is a graphic novel series. But as those who have bought Book 1 – The Initiation and/or Book 0 – The Legacy may have seen by now, we look at things in a rather cinematographic way. So, with a little time on our hands, we have combined film and comic into a few nice trailers for Book 1.

Watch them both here. One has English texts and shows you a number of pages of Book 1, the other has Dutch texts and is more like an actual trailer. But we like the two of them and we hope you do too.

De Maier-Files: bekijk ze nu !

Okee, De Maier-Files is een stripserie. Maar zoals degenen die Boek 1 – De Inwijding en/of Boek 0 – De Erfenis kochten intussen misschien gezien hebben, houden we er een nogal filmische kijk op na. We hebben dus, met een beetje tijd op overschot, film en strip gecombineerd in een paar leuke trailers voor Boek 1.

Bekijk ze nu allebei hier. De ene heeft Engelse teksten en toont een aantal pagina’s uit Boek 1, de andere heeft Nederlandse teksten en lijkt meer op een conventionele trailer. Maar wij vinden ze allebei goed en hopen van u hetzelfde.

Nieuwe stripserie De Maier-Files – Boek 1 – De Inwijding nu te koop !

1944 – Terwijl de Tweede Wereldoorlog op zijn einde loopt, proberen hooggeplaatste nazi’s, samen met hun financiële broodheren, hun overleven na de oorlog te organiseren. Daarbij willen ze de geplunderde mystieke schatten en een aantal “wonderwapens” veilig stellen. The thing is, publicity is enormously important for indie projects like ours, projects that are not backed by big money. We would like to bring the full story and produce it as a graphic novel series, maybe later also in a filmed version.

Big publishers can announce a movie, a book, a novel, produce it and then invest millions of euros or dollars in marketing in the months before the release. That’s really not how indie authors can work.
